[DTA] Floopfalls, Ted

Floopfalls, Ted <3 

    Della had been so happy that her friend had finally been able to visit, so of course she took him to see her favorite place, Floopfalls. It was still really early in the morning but she wasn't able to sleep, Ted was still asleep  in his sweater. It was hard for her to understand why he has a sweater on in such a hot weather... He did come from Haricot after all. She did know that he had some sort of scar and was trying to hide it, he didn't know she knew that as Della never mentioned or questioned it, he was really closed about personal matters. 

    And there she was, looking him and debating whether she should or not wake him up. It took him a long while to fall asleep the night before, she couldn't help but to think that maybe he wouldn't have so many problems sleeping if he didn't read so many horror stories before going to bed. It always confused her why he was be so interested in scary stories if it kept him awake at night, he liked writing them a lot too. Weird guy. 

    But he always had a bottle of chamomile tea to help him with that. He always had a lot of chamomile on him now that she thought about it and she couldn't help but wonder if he had suffered the same problem as her when he was a sprout. Was he unable to identify with a flower due to his abstract nature as much as she had with identifying with a bird due to her floral nature?... He wouldn't talk to her about it even if she asked, so she just let the thought go. 

    When they finally reached Floopfalls, after a lot of work trying to get Ted to get up and a short hike, Della asked to take a picture. It wasn't an unusual thing to ask as she loved photography so he smiled shyly at the camera and waved. When he asked to see it she refused to show him and after a lot of rolling around and running he saw the photo, his hair was full of chamomile flowers and leaves from sleeping outside he thought it was ridiculous and stuffed the picture in his backpack, Della whined as she thought it was actually pretty funny and cute. 

    Years later she would enjoy receiving in one of the letters that the normally exchanged, the same picture and a promise of meeting her again soon.

Anyways a bit about my entry, I felt like writting something with Della in it because i always wanted her to have this penpal?? and they like, write to eachother and unfortunally can rarely visit the other because she lives in Lima and him in Haricot ;; v ;; and show his personality and some of his backstory without just listing it
I had some other ideas to what my entry was going to be and ended up doing this, but i figure the future owner may want it so here they are.
